Under My Roof

From the album “A Man and Me”. “Under My Roof” is a song about how Jesus comes in the Eucharist, present in the bread and wine, at the hands and words of the priest. Dedicated to Rev. Luke B. Zimmer, SS.CC. I wrote this song just after he came to my little apartment and said a mass just for me, at a time in my life I really needed it. I realized to my astonishment that, at that very moment, God himself had just come “Under My Roof”.
